Introducing: Vancouver City Abstracts! I've never shown my photographs publicly but I'm actually a bit infatuated with these rainy night shots that I took 5 years ago with no fancy camera. Sometimes opportunities present themselves at the most unexpected times. I arrived very early for a designers/stagers meetup in a cold, wet, & stormy January evening in downtown Vancouver. It was brutal looking for a parking spot that was close enough so I wouldn't be totally drenched when I walked in. While driving around, I was suddenly awakened to the abstract beauty that the rain created while dancing with all the colours & lights everywhere creating amazing reflections. I became mesmerized by it & it transformed my outlook on the terrible storm to pure joy & delight.
